By accessing and using this website and engaging with Lovatt Home Surveys' services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this site.
Lovatt Home Surveys provides professional residential property surveys in accordance with RICS standards and professional guidelines. Surveys are conducted by a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and Building Pathologist (MRPSA).
Our surveys are visual inspections only. We do not:
All surveys are backed by Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) as required by the RPSA and RICS. This provides protection for significant defects that a properly conducted survey should have identified.
Survey fees are quoted in advance and are fixed-price. Payment is due upon completion of the survey, or as otherwise specified in your quote.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled survey. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee.
The survey report is prepared for your sole use. You may share it with your lender, solicitor, or advisors. Commercial reproduction or distribution without permission is prohibited.
While we use professional expertise and judgment, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all defect assessments. Some defects may not be visible or apparent during the inspection.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the survey, except where liability cannot legally be limited (such as death or personal injury).
